5 month baby hard poop
My 5 month old baby is doing hard poop from past few days. He is putting very much pressure while doing this and gap is 3 to 4 days in 2 poop.
He is formula fed baby. But he didn't face this problem from last 5 months. Please suggest what to do.
I am giving him Gastica drops since his birth.

If he has completed 5months, u can start water. Boiled water can be given . This would help with hard stool.transient constipation is common. If persistent, needs to be seen.

As baby is growing, changes in stool pattern is common.once you start solids and water at 6 months this problem will subside.You can try Syp.duphalac 5ml at night for a week if baby is too uncomfortable and not pooping.
