4 week old baby pees alot
Hi doctor
from past 2days my 4 week old baby boy is peeing alot..
immediately after breastfeeding.. he pees 2 to 3 times and then wants to feed again..
due to which he isn't sleeping much..
and keeps repeating this cycle especially at night..
is it normal?

Newborns have exactly opposite cycle than the adults. majority of the newborns are awake in the night and sleeps during the day. It takes approximately 4 to 5 months to have a cycle like adults . newborns should pass urine 8 to 10 times a -day. Then it is adequate. No need to worry.
