My 2 month old baby boy is peeing daily 8 or more times, but for past few days his pee is yellow and less quantity.
Is this something to worry about or is it normal as it is summer?

What’s Normal vs. Concerning
At 2 months of age, 6–8+ wet diapers per day with pale/clear yellow urine is the expected norm. The changes you’re describing as darker yellow urine and reduced quantity — are classic early signs of dehydration, regardless of the season. Summer heat can increase insensible fluid loss (through sweat and breathing), that contribute to mild dehydration — but at this age, the baby’s only fluid source should be breast milk or formula, and that intake needs to increase to compensate for his total body water loss.
Next Steps
Increase feeding frequency ; Monitor diaper output closely ; Do NOT give water — it is dangerous for babies under 6 mo
