4 month old spitting milk
My son 4 month old spitting milk after giving iron drops. Till 4 month he has no spitting milk. But after giving iron drops he spitting milk alot.

It’s very common side effects of iron as it causes gastritis. Dont give on empty stomach. Consult for why iron was prescribed and if not necessary can be stopped

Give iron drops only after 2 hours of feed it’s not given with milk at all

Iron drops can cause mild gastric irritation and spitting up in children’s This is common and usually not harmful. Give iron after a feed, ensure proper burping, and keep the baby upright for 20–30 minutes.

Iron drops can cause gastric irritation, mostly if given in empty stomach. So it must be given along with or after the feed. Spitting is also normal in this age group. So don't worry. You can try different brands of Iron drops. Ensure adequate burping following feed.
Next Steps
If symptoms don't improve then mediations like Domperidone can be given after consultation with the Pediatrician along with thorough physical examination.

Due to taste and gastritis it's common.Give drop by drop and 15-20 min before feed. Maintain upright after feeding for atleast 20 minutes
