Yesterday My BP was 160/110

I am 38 years male, Yesterday My BP was 160/110 often I got fluctuations around 140 in past two years, but I never used medication as it was under control. I was suffered with severe headaches I used Dart tablets to get relaxation from headaches. From last three days I felt pain on neck severe pulling and headache I have visited cardiologist as my BP 160/110 doctor suggested to start immediate medication with prolomet XL 50 for initial week. Is it good take medication for my case. I heard once BP medication started always we have to use medication to control BP

Yes. If BP can't be controlled by lifestyle modification then you have to take medicine continuously. But that is for your own health benefit. Take medications regularly to avoid any future accident. Else it'll lead to severe cardiovascular diseases.
