Hi ,
My 7 months son has an ear infection from last 5-7 days and we are not in India , here doctor just gave paracetamol to tackle the pain and told us it will recover by itself .
Yesterday, there was a fluid coming out of ear and he is scratching his ear, we called doctor and he said no need to worry antibiotics are not required
The fluid is good sign that his pressure is released and it's improving within few days he will fine.
PS - he has no fever, it was last week for 3 days and we just gave paracetamol. Also, while scratching the ear he is not crying just little crancky for few seconds and again smiling, playing.
