Wrong treatment?
Respected doctors, a month ago, I had dengue fever (104°F) and was hospitalized. I was given IV and Olcefone 1000mg inj inspite of saying several times that I have taken plenty of antibiotics in past 1 year for various issues that got cured by then. They also tried forcing me to take 2 more olefone inj. I refused, got admitted to another hosp in another city and there I got cured without taking any antibiotics even after telling them abt olcefone. Do you think the doctor might have had wrong intentions in first hosp?

Absolutely not.It was dengue fever with 104 degree , obviously they tried their best to get you recover at the earliest. Injection ceftriaxone 1gm is an proved antibiotic usually given for atleast 3 days Dengue fever without complications is self limiting And you recovered without any antibiotic.
