Don't worry...he is suffering from Stasis dermatitis causing wound... specific Medicine available for good control... Treatment depends on the severity..Do direct online consultation for detailed prescription .

Better meet a surgeon and dermatologist personally to rule out venous cause or some skin disease too

This looks like an ulceration due to venous cause. A detailed history is needed. Certain specialised investigations like an arterial and venous colour doppler of the leg may be needed.
