Worried and Depressed
I am feeling depressed and can't concentrate on my studies. Three months back my befriend and I were physical but we didn't had intercourse I was in my clothes. Since then whenever my period got late I am scared that I am pregnant. I Went to A doctor but can't tell my problem just because my parents were there. My period was irregular before also but now every time it makes me worried when I am late..this month it is really late. I am felling very low and crying all the time. What can I say to my parents if it happens

Hi, it looks like you are stressed and you get worried when you get your period late. You don’t have to be worried. Consult a doctor and explain about your situation. You can consult a psychologist as well to help manage stress. I understand you are feeling low and helpless, with counseling sessions you will feel better. If you can consult a doctor and take up counseling sessions you will feel less anxious about what is in your mind.
Next Steps
Consult a doctor and psychologist.

Dear concerned, you seem to be very confused and worried because of your recent event of getting  physical with your boyfriend. Its the guilt and anxiety which is making you feel too disturbed emotionally. Your missing / late periods could be of some other gynaec issues. See a gynaecologist if needed. However, you will be haunted by your own thoughts of keeping your parents in dark, & resentful of  your behavior. You may take professional help. You may connect to me on practo for help.

Hi... Please buy a Pregnancy Test Kit (online/offline) and get over this fear. You can also consult a Gynaecologist online on Practo to figure out more details. The chances of you getting pregnant without an intercourse is really low and your periods might get delayed due to other reasons as well. Please do not overthink this thing and just arrange a test kit yourself or with the help of your boyfriend. You are 28 and it is very normal for you to be involved in a relationship and be sexually active as well. Don't subjugate your basic human nature under the pretext of superficial societal norms. Your parents won't react the way you are imagining it, even if it happens.
Next Steps
Arrange a Pregnancy Test Kit and consult a Gynaecologist
