Worried about smoking with asthma

Hey Im a 16 year old teenager who loves bmxing with controlled asthma. I'm worried because I smoke cigarettes and wondered if this will trigger asthma attacks. The last time I had an asthma attack I was very young. Just seeking some hopeful advice."
