Horlicks is no solution. Having thyroid, you should take calcium rich foods like milk, curd, fruits and vegetables. Cut down sugar intake as much as possible. Exercise and meditate regularly. For tonic and sleep problems, homoeopathic medicines could be of great help to you .

Horlick is no good . It’s just chocolate and sugar. Take balance diet . The home made Gur Chana or black gram boiled is very good , oats with dry fruits in milk. They will be cheaper than Horlicks.

For what exactly you want to take? If you have any physical problem you should have a proper consultation with doctor first. Health drinks can not help you to get sleep.

There is considerable debate about the benefits/disadvantages of Horlicks. According to the level language of the bottle of Horlicks, its ingredients are malted barley, wheat grains, dried skimmed milk, whey, sugar and vegetable fat. So roasted barley or a poultry cannot be made. Barley is widely used as a food animal. This barley is dried in gage. The dried barley buds are powdered and chipped. It is mixed with vegetable fat, milk, sugar and mineral salt. Horlicks made of this mixture dry. If you eat regular nutritional food then there is no need for Horlicks' food. Drink more milk, egg spinach, vegetables, and vegetables, drink plenty of water. Moreover find out the cause of ur problem. Do Thyroid profile, CBC, blood sugar fasting checked from some lab. In the meanwhile Do this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic). ) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't Overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever ur mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is ur traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style 7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, Carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. It contains a lot of fiber which will help reduce tendency for constipation 9. Drink lot of water. 10. Everyday preferably sleep on same time 11. Take half cup of cold milk when u feel acidity, it will help. Curd is good for u. 12. If its very severe then Elevate your bed Raising the head of your bed six to eight inches can help gravity keep gastric acid down in your stomach. This is for long term results But for now to bring your digestive system back on track you need to take medicines. For that I need more details, you can consult me

Noooo ma'am. Don't become a victim of these glamourous advertisements.  You can try these simple things instead; * Eat 2 soaked almonds and a black date in breakfast. * Eat atleast 2-3 curry leaves daily. For that you can mix it with dough before you make roti. * Do some cardio exercise like jumping jacks, jogging, running the stairs, burpees etc atleast for 5-10 mins. (Always remember, food is a fuel, better consume it before you refill it.) * Practice a very well known Yoga posture called, 'Sarwangasan' (सर्वांगासन) OR 'Shoulder stand'. It's regular practice has got a huge number of benifits though, but in your case it will not only help to regulate the thyroid and parathyroid function but will assist in sound sleep as well. Take care...!
