I'm am male of age 27 diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It's been 8years I'm on medication.
Currently I'm taking 100 MCG thyronorm upon docs prescription. Yet last week I got a general tsh,t3 and t4 tested. Tsh was more than20 and t3 and t4 was normal. To reconfirm I did the test again for tsh in another centre. It showed 28.
So why this much variation?

U should give fasting sample for thyroid Profile between 6-8 am. With atleast 8 hr sound sleep.
Get A USG thyroid along with S. thyroid antibodies like TPO for better ubderstanding of root cause.
Get Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 levels tested.
Vit D deficiency and low calcium disrupts thyroid function.
Start A calcium supplement with vitamin D supplement
