Wisdom tooth removal
Hi, I had my wisdom tooth cavity filled 6 months back but now it starts paining. I visited the Dentist today and he said, your tooth must be removed. I want to know if there are any other alternative? I'm scared also by the whole procedure of tooth removal.

There is an alternative to this is v can do the rct of that tooth but on condition that tooth is easily accessible and visible and fully erupted. And of rct is not possible then its better to go for the extraction of this tooth.

Wisdom tooth is usually better removed unless it can help in chewing and is accessable for treatment. Removal of teeth is not scary with the present methods. Will be usually removed after planning only by studying x-rays and clinical examination. So don't be scared.

If tooth is fully erupted and can be restored only then root canal is considered. Generally if wisdom teeth give problems they are extracted.
