Hello! Pain and swelling around wisdom tooth is often noted around partially erupted tooth owing to a localised infection. Would recommend to start tepid salt water rinses. Visiting the nearest Oral Surgeon/ Dentist would be recommended.

This looks like wisdom tooth infection (pericoronitis). Immediate relief can be given with painkillers like Tab Enzoflam, antibiotics (if required), and cleaning under the gum flap. However, this is a recurring problem definitive solution is removal of the wisdom tooth after the infection subsides. Kindly visit a dentist at the earliest.

Hello If this is the first time you've encountered this pain, try warm saline rinses to clean that area. It ll ease out discomfort. Extreme pain and swelling will require pain killer and antibiotics both for atleast 5days.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist so that the source of the pain (infection, food lodgement, malalignment, caries) can be evaluated correctly.

Immediate relief can be achieved with warm water + salt rinsing, painkillers like Tab Combiflam , betadine gargle with water equal part twice a day for 7 days and antibiotics .

Long term reliefis usually obtained after removal of the wisdom tooth as it is very difficult to maintain a wisdom tooth that is rotated /not fully erupted . so this will keep recurring .

Kindly visit a dentist at the earliest. Based on your symptoms, the pain and swelling are likely due to an underlying infection around the wisdom tooth. Over-the-counter medications may provide only temporary relief and may not completely resolve the condition. You may require prescription antibiotics and professional care.
Next Steps
Meanwhile, you can: Do warm salt water rinses 3–4 times daily Maintain good oral hygiene in the area
Health Tips
Important precautions: Do not apply any balm, ointment, or home remedies over the swelling Avoid applying external heat or cold packs
