Hello! As I see on the Xray, the wisdom tooth looks a little supra-erupted. This could be due to absence of the lower wisdom tooth or a natural phenomemon. If there is pain or infection in the wisdom tooth more than once, I would advise you to remove it, as root canal treatments for wisdom teeth may or may not be successful in the long term. As you may know, wisdom tooth is a vestigeal part, meaning it has no purpose. It does not help you to chew, eat, talk, etc. It's an extra tooth with no use.
Next Steps
If it has been paining you more than once, you should definitely get it removed. It's a permanent lifelong solution.
Health Tips
Do not ignore or delay the treatment! Delay is never good for the teeth! Wish you a pain-free process, Best Regards.
