Wisdom tooth extraction site cleaning

Asked for Female, 24 Years

My wisdom tooth extraction went smoothly and even got the stitches removed after a week . But now the problem is that a hole is left behind the extraction site and food is getting stuck there . I am worried about infection . Although I am trying to get the food out by rinsing after every meal but still when I see closely I think some particles are stuck. Please advice how can I completely clean it .

It takes 2 weeks to a month for that to totally close up. Do not worry about the lil particles. Use betadine mouth gargle for rinsing after every meal. It will keep the infection in check.
