Hello Respected Doctors, On Arip 15 mg for BPAD1,not getting the desired results. Got second opinion to start Olanzapine. Pls let me know the better option of the two. Thanks in advance.

Hi As aripiprazole was tried, and no improvement was seen according to the symptoms, the consulting doctor change the medication to olanzapine So try olanzapine for an duration of 4 to 6 weeks and and observe for improvement of around 40 to 50 percentage of the current symptoms If olanzapine able to provide you the desired results, continue the medication and adjust the dose accordingly If no improvement is seen then aripiprazole or any other antipsychotic can be tried Every medication is prescribed based on Patient profile Effects Side effects Accessibility Affordability Comorbid conditions
