I, 42year male, have burning sensation during urination and slight stomach pain too. Doctor says its urinary tract infection. He gave me some pain killers and antibiotics for 3 days. Side effects are dependent on the medicine used and the same medicine is not used for all urinary tract infections. It takes a few days for the medication to take it's effect and to clear out the infection. Stay hydrated and make sure to not skip meals.
