Hi, You need to focus both on diet and exercise. Losing leg fat can be done through exercises. Also brisk walk can help. Moreover diet plays an important role. You need to follow a 6-7 meals pattern per day. Skipping meals won't help in losing weight. It will then lead to weight gain. Also avoid outside food or food with lots of fat. Avoid taking ghee, butter. You also need to cut down extra salt and sugar from your diet. Drinking more and more water can help you to loose weight sooner.
