Weight gain query
Hi Doctor, My baby is 3 months old. Her birth weight was 3.48kg. From last one month she increased only 600 g. Her current weight is 6.3. is this normal weight gain for her age?

Your baby gained nearly 3kg in first 3months, so no need to worry.. Now onwards weight will not gain same as that was  gained in first 3months....so dont worry about it...

Birth weight should be doubled by 5 months of age... So your baby's weight is very normal for her age.. no need to worry.. just give breastfeeding exclusively..

Her weight is normal. Babies double there weight by 5 months.

As the baby grows older, there activities increases , so weight will decrease. This is normal

Roughly babies birth weight doubles by 5 month ,so by that rule baby is gaining normally . Concentrate more on proper feeding and hygeine ,there is no reason weight will not increase  Every time u visit doctor for routine visit or vaccination get weight and other anthrompometric measurement plotted on growth chart to keep track .
