Next Steps

Nothing to worry as long us you are symptoms free ,low wbc with lyphocytic predominance means you have a viral infection ,you will get soon after 2 days it might be a gastritis
A WBC (white blood cell) count of 3950 per microliter (or 3.95 x 10â¹/L) is considered slightly low â the normal range is typically 4,000 to 11,000 per microliter. A low WBC count is called leukopenia.
Mild leukopenia like yours isn't always dangerous on its own.
It can be due to viral infections, certain medications, stress, autoimmune disorders, or nutritional deficiencies.
Since youâre experiencing stomach upset, this could be related. Viral gastroenteritis, for example, can temporarily lower WBC count.
If other cell lines (like RBCs, platelets, or specific WBC types like neutrophils or lymphocytes) are also low, it might suggest a broader issue.
Increased Risk of Infection: White blood cells, particularly neutrophils, are crucial for fighting off infections. A low count can significantly weaken your immune system, making you more susceptible to bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections, and potentially leading to more severe or frequent illnesses.
Stomach Upset: While stomach upset (pain, gas, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) may not be directly caused by leukopenia, it could be a symptom of an infection that is also causing the low WBC count, or it could be an unrelated gastrointestinal issue.

Hi,
There is possibility of enteric fever. this lab investigation and rest of the information is not enough.
Get typhi IgM test & LFT done. is there any history of fever, loose motions & vomiting ?
Not to worry about it, sometimes reports slightly very from lab to lab, and the count is almost normal, you can repeat the investigation for your satisfaction after 1 or 2 days if the count decreases more from that level then it could be a concern. Right now it's fine.
If it’s just pain abdomen no need to worry can take pain medicine….if loss of appetite, bloating, loose stools nausea vomiting present….kindly consult doctor….
