Water drops splashed iny nose
While covering the lid of my overhead water tank kept on terrace, as I was turning it to close it, I pressed on it and some water drops splashed in my nose due to the pressure I put on the lid. I am very scared of getting an N Fowleri infection as I read in summer there is a risk for same. Our water is from underground boring connection via jet motor pump so it is not chlorinated or disinfected and it's stagnant. I mean we use it daily and atleast motor is run twice a day. I worry as water in cover might be stagnant for days. Am I at risk? Please help me with this fear.

Hello, Getting a splash of water will not usually cause infection because everyone is using direct tape water for bath and washing their own face. Unless and until you are not symptomatic, then you don't need to worry regarding the same. If you are feeling any symptoms including fever or rhinitis, then consult a nearby ENT surgeon for nasal endoscopy. Rest no need to worry, just wash your face area throughly.
