Hi... Please take couple therapy or consult a sexologist. There is no such thing as increasing the libido. She can try some exercises or some medicine, but ultimately it is a completely mental thing for most women. If she is not feeling aroused, you rather need to take care of her needs and wants. Women (especially in her age) feel aroused towards a man they look up to or respect. A man who they consider sensible and understanding. A man who values them more than anything. At the biological level women are aroused towards a man who will create a better progeny and be with her till the time their offspring grows up to take care of themselves. There might be other factors leading to her low interest. They need to be addressed before making any attempts on increasing her libido by other means. Women in their 40's, especially in our country, go through a very difficult phase where they loose their typical attractiveness and find themselves in a marriage where they have nothing to lookup to. When they don't feel appreciated or loved, they are very likely to feel low arousal. Her libido in this age is more a function of what she feels about her and how she perceives her partner feel for her.
