Hello, Gaining weight continuously can be due to a lot of reasons. Suggestion is to get checked for any underlying medical condition. Take isapgol/ flybogel in water 30 mins prior to lunch and dinner...Will help with indigestion problems -Exercise daily for an hour (Can be at home or simple exercises like running, jogging, brisk walking, on the spot marching, squats, etc) -Include protein in your diet (taking protein rich foods post workout helps in muscle building) -Increase fiber in your diet (Will help you stay full) -Include fruits and vegetables in your diet (2-3 serving) -Water intake of atleast 3L per day -Add healthy fat like nuts to your diet. -Avoid/Exclude fried, sugary and junk food -Eat a balanced and healthy diet -Do not skip breakfast as 40% of days energy is from breakfast NOTE: The above mentioned practices can change according to a specific medical condition.

Please start maintaining a food diary and note down all the foods you are eating along with the time and quantities. Note down the indigestion symptoms you are facing after eating each of the foods. This will help you identify the foods that are causing discomfort and indigestion. Once this problem is fixed, you can focus on gaining weight. To gain weight, you need to increase the calorie intake. But you need to chose healthy foods. Increasing dairy products like milk, curd and paneer intake will help. Include nuts like walnuts, almonds, pistachios etc in your diet as snacks. Along with good diet, exercising will help increase appetite. Also, make sure you get good sleep because that’s when body rests and helps you get proper energy from the food you are eating to gain weight. If you need further guidance with a customized diet plan to suit your lifestyle, please contact me personally.
