Steps are fine...but what is that u r eating in lunch matters.. If u skip dinners u may loose weight immediately for few days.but that lost weight regains immediately once u start eating again.. First ur fats burn when u start on diet and exercise  ...muscle mass reduces later

U have to loose fat ;not muscle mass;for that redice your intake of sweet food stuff;oily and high carbohydrate food;eat more of fruits ,salad, protein food esp in breakfast ;don't skip any meals;in night take soups;salads;dals;but v lessor no rice chapati anf potato;and regular exercise
