VUR and surgery
Hi, my 4 months baby boy had UTI and after antibiotics dose doctor suggested MCUG and is diagnkwith grade 4 reflux. 1 Doctor suggested DMSA after 2 months & sporidex for 2 yrs . Said VUR will get cured by age. and another doctor says surgery is required. Is surgery mandate? What surgery is that exactly. My baby is just 4 months old.

I believe that surgery may be needed but at present waiting under antibiotics may be justified if break through infections don't occur.
