VUR Grade IV detected after UTI
Hi Sir/Madam, My 7months old son infected with UTI and as the CRP level was high hence IV antibiotic was applied as per doctor's recommendation. After the recovery from UTI we went for MCUG test and VUR Grade IV was detected(attached the report). After taking the suggestion from multiple spesaliat we are confused that do we need to go for surgery and it will be overcome when he grows up.. please suggest!

As the report suggests , your child has grade 4 VUR which is a severe condition, if not operated upon urgently will lead to kidney scars and decline in kidney function. Consult a good Pediatric surgeon and donot rely on miracles of self recovery, it’s not going to happen. I have seen kids with renal failure and poor life expectancy who were not timely operated.
