Vomitting sensation
Hello, My sister is 20 years old. She is suffering from vomiting sensation when she saw food for the past 5 days. No other symptoms. She is not vomitting, she is hungry but she felt like vomiting when she saw food. Doctor said to take Emeset tablet yesterday 2 tablets ( morning and evening) . Now little bit ok. Please tell why she suffers from vomiting sensation. It's due to indigestion? Explain Thanks

Dear practo user,this can happen sometimes with gastric issues or hormonal imbalance.ahe is not having fever or any other issues,which rules out any severe infection.
Next Steps
for now get her cbc and lft done.give her one tablet of zentel 400mg after dinner with a cup of milk(once only).start her on cap.pan D daily 1 hour before breakfast for 10 days.Emeset tablet will be only SOS-if needed...otherwise stop.

Vomiting is only a symptom like fever of an underlying disease The underlying disease is treated means it wont recur

Have you noticed that whenever she see food. She feels vomiting. That actually doesn't happen in a normal person. It's a behavioural act. She needs thorough counseling for this.
