There are couple things need to be considered before we start the treatment of vitiligo by surgical means . First is the stability of the disease . Then type of vitiligo and area involved . Response is satisfactory with recent advances in the field . Modalities like split skin skin graft ,smash graft and mini punch graft. Blister grafts are good for mucosa and even recent advance supports the use of FUE hair transplant in affected area.
