A vitamin B12 level of 300 pg/mL is on the lower end of the normal range, which typically falls between 200 and 900 pg/mL. However, some experts consider levels below 400 pg/mL to be potentially insufficient, especially if you are experiencing symptoms like numbness and tingling. Given your symptoms and the history of low magnesium, it's important to address both deficiencies: Vitamin B12 Supplementation: Consider taking a vitamin B12 supplement or getting B12 injections. Consult with your healthcare provider for the appropriate dosage and form (oral, sublingual, or injection). Dietary Adjustments: Increase intake of B12-rich foods such as meat, fish, dairy products, and fortified cereals. Magnesium Supplementation: Take a magnesium supplement as recommended by your healthcare provider. Foods rich in magnesium include leafy green vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. Follow-Up Testing: Regularly monitor your vitamin B12 and magnesium levels to ensure they are improving and to adjust supplementation as needed. Consult a Specialist: If symptoms persist, it might be helpful to see a neurologist or a specialist in nutritional deficiencies. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplements or making significant dietary changes.

Vit B12 level should be ideally...above 450. In typhoid infection the chances of deficiency can be high, as the infection can affect absorption of Vit B12. Typhoid bacillus majorly attacks the gut. Continue with supplements for 3 months..let's see. Consult an expert Homeopathic physician so that you can start with Homeopathic medicine to prevent relapse of typhoid fever. You can continue with supplements along with homeopathic medicine.
