Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician.
I understand your concern. Vitamin D3 deficiency and low B12 can both cause body and joint pains. Since your anti CCP and diabetes reports are normal, deficiency is the most likely cause.
â Advices
⢠Continue D3 weekly for 3 months and Hicobal for 2 months as prescribed
⢠Eat protein, calcium, and B12 rich foods, and get regular sunlight exposure
⢠Gentle stretching and light exercise help joint recovery
What to Monitor
⢠Gradual reduction in pain over weeks
⢠Energy and nerve symptoms improving
⢠Any new swelling, redness, or stiffness
Management
Vitamin D pain relief may take 8 to 12 weeks, while B12 nerve recovery may take 2 to 6 months. Most patients improve well, though complete cure depends on lifestyle and any underlying joint condition.
When to Consult Immediately
⢠Pain or stiffness worsens
⢠Swelling or redness of joints develops
⢠Weakness or imbalance increases

Hi there
After reading your query
I have doubt that you start taking supplements without taking proper advice from a dr.
First of all , only vitD is not the only thing that will tell you about your bone health
But since deficiency is there so obviously u have to complete the def with supplements
1. Cholicalciferol 60k units weekly with milk
2. B12 supplements 1200micrograms
But first of all provide the lab reports then i can consult you better
For further guidance u can drop a message

Your joint pain is improving → Keep taking D3 and B12.
Full recovery depends on whether the cause is purely deficiency-related or something else.
Consult your doctor again after 2 months for re-assessment and possible further tests.
Be patient — Vitamin D3 and B12 take time to correct deficiencies.
