I want to know if there could be other reasons for low
vitamin D despite good exposure to sun like any nutritional deficiency? my latest vitamin d test value 25. it is not severely deficient, but not sufficient either (should be above 30). should I take supplements? if I take supplement and also spend time in the sun, will it increase vitamin d value beyond max limit? I do yoga in the morning regularly for half an hour between 8am to 10am under sun. I took Vitamin D supplements around 4 months back (during Covid time). so I am not sure if the current value is due to the supplement (which took time to increase levels) which I had taken before OR it is due to sun exposure. is there any risk if I keep taking vitamin D supplement always (within limit) without worrying about sun exposure?
