Vitamin D deficiency
Hi, I took a routine blood test in December and my vitamin d was 8.37 ng/mL. On consultation I was recommended to take two injections (600000 IU) in two weeks. Is this safe? Or is it too high a dose?

As your vitamin d level is low, injection vitamin d taken 2 weeks apart is safe.Repeat the vitamin d level after 6 weeks to compare and take oral form if necessary.

Your vit D level is very low.These inj are safe.Do not take much tension. Repeat vit D level after one month. Take daily sun exposure for 30 minutes. Take vit D fortified milk and food.
