Heen diagnosed with vertigo and suggested MRI
Due to lockdown I am not able to go further with the treatment

If your vertigo is persisting, then better to go mri as soon as possible. Vertin can be used for long term.

I understand your concern.
First of all spinning sensation and vertigo itself needs very detailed history to rule out all possibile causes.
Mostly it will be peripheral vertigo which is treated by ENT doctors.
Vertin is fine as such there are no side effects.

More history need to be taken about the nature of your giddiness . We should find out the cause of your giddiness before taking long term medicines. Positional giddiness can be treated by exercises. Blood tests need to be done to rule out metabolic causes.
