Hello there are various triggering factors for vertigo like rapid neck movements, position changes, infection, emotional stress, migraine. Most concerned thing is to eliminate the triggering factors first. As you said that you are asymptomatic now , so you must work on the triggering factor. Healthy and nutritious diet also helps to cope up with the symptoms. And if the symptoms persist again, test VNG (videnystagmography) is gold standard to find the cause of vertigo, either brain or inner ear.
It will be difficult to predict like that
If it was due to inner ear involvement, as I can see by your history , vestibular rehabilitation was helpful
So avoid jerky sudden movements
Specially while getting up from bed , make sure you do it gradually……
