Hello, Thanks for your message. A uric acid level of 8 is slightly on the higher side, and it’s good that you caught it early — especially since you’re not having joint pain yet. Needa syrup can help for short-term support, but since you’re looking to manage it naturally and avoid long-term medication, it’s definitely possible with the right diet and routine adjustments. Next step: I’d suggest a consultation so I can understand your full lifestyle, eating habits, and work pattern — then guide you with a practical plan to help bring uric acid back to normal without long-term meds. Let me know if you’d like to take this forward. – Dr. Arisha Ayurveda Consultant

These levels of uric acid if without symptoms, don't need any medical treatment. Get your urine test done once every 6 months and seek advise if there are uric acid crystals in it. Otherwise, maintain healthy weight drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol, specially beer and avoid organ meat if you are non vegetarian. Get your vitamin d 3 levels checked. Symptoms may be due to that. Raised uric acid rarely lead to any trouble in bigger joints

Yes, a **uric acid level of 8 mg/dL** is slightly elevated (normal is up to \~7 mg/dL for men), and though you don’t have joint pain now, it’s wise to reduce it early to prevent **gout**, **joint issues**, or **kidney strain** later. You're already on the right track by aiming to correct it **naturally and not depend on long-term medication**. Let's go over both **Ayurvedic treatment** and **natural methods** to reduce uric acid effectively. --- ## 🌿 **Ayurvedic View & Treatment for High Uric Acid (Hyperuricemia)** In Ayurveda, excess uric acid is viewed as a result of: * **Ama (toxic undigested substances)** * **Vata-Rakta vikar** (similar to early gout) * Weak **Agni (digestion/metabolism)** ### ✅ 1. **Herbal Remedies (Short-Term Use to Normalize Levels)** You can use the following Ayurvedic herbs/formulas for **2–3 months** to bring uric acid to normal, then stop: * **Consult us Personally for details** – 2 tablets after meals twice a day 🔹 Detoxifies blood, improves kidney filtration. * **Consult us Personally for details** – 2 tablets twice a day 🔹 Reduces inflammation, supports kidney and urinary tract. * **Consult us Personally for details** – 1 tsp at night with warm water 🔹 Helps digestion, reduces "ama", and supports excretion of uric acid. * **Consult us Personally for details** (or Needaa Syrup as prescribed) – Yes, it can help in short-term 🔹 It's a classical Ayurvedic formulation that supports kidney function and mildly reduces uric acid. Use only for 1–2 months, not long-term. > You can stop these once uric acid drops below 6.5 and maintain with diet/lifestyle. --- ## 🥗 **Diet & Lifestyle to Naturally Lower Uric Acid** ### 🚫 Avoid or Minimize: * Red meat, organ meats (liver, kidney) * Seafood (especially shellfish) * Excess chicken or eggs (limit to 2–3 times/week) * Lentils in excess (like masoor), urad dal * Fried foods, bakery items, maida * Alcohol, soft drinks, sugary processed foods * Cold water, ice creams, pickles ### ✅ Eat More Of: * Warm, light, home-cooked foods * **Lauki (bottle gourd), karela, pumpkin, cucumber** * **Barley**, rice, moong dal * Fresh fruits: papaya, apple, banana, cherries * Cow’s ghee (small amount) – improves metabolism * 8–10 glasses of **warm water** daily (add 1 tsp lemon juice to one glass in the morning) --- ## 🧘‍♂️ Lifestyle & Exercise * **Daily brisk walk** (30–45 min) – promotes circulation and uric acid clearance. * **Avoid sitting long**, but also **take breaks** if you stand too much. * **Stretch your legs and ankles every 2 hours** to ease fatigue. --- ## 🧪 Track Progress * Recheck uric acid after **1.5 to 2 months**. * Target: bring it down to **6.0–6.5** or lower and then maintain with diet. --- ## ✅ Summary – What You Can Do Today: | Step | Action | | --------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- | | 🪻 Herbs | Consult us Personally for details(2–3 months only) | | 🥗 Diet | Avoid high-purine foods, eat more alkaline foods like lauki & barley | | 💧 Hydration | Lemon water + warm water through the day | | 🧘‍♂️ Lifestyle | Walking + leg stretches if standing long | | 📉 Monitor | Retest uric acid after 6–8 weeks | --- If you’d like, I can make a **1-day sample meal plan** for uric acid control or a **3-month Ayurvedic herb schedule**. Consult us Personally for details. Let me know if you're on any other medications (BP, sugar, etc.), so I can avoid herb interactions. Advice- Consult us Personally for details. Avoid self medication.

"Uric acid at 8 is mildly high. Since no joint pain yet, it's manageable. Needa syrup can help reduce levels, but focus on lifestyle: hydrate well, reduce red meat, seafood, alcohol, and sugary foods. Standing work may cause leg fatigue, not necessarily due to uric acid. For long-term control without medicine, follow diet and activity changes. Consult me for a detailed healing plan."

Uric acid 8 is mildly high. No symptoms now, but diet and hydration are key—avoid red meat, alcohol, and increase fruits, water. Neeri supports kidneys but doesn’t directly reduce uric acid. Ayurvedic herbs like Punarnava, Gokshura, Giloy may help. Recheck in 1–2 months. For personalized Ayurvedic plan, consult me via video.
Next Steps
Consult for further guidance.
