Undiagnosed fever since 2 months. Drugs.

The patient had high fever (102 F), we tested for dengue (NS1) and chikungunya which came out negative. After that we visited a general physician who tested for typhoid, dengue, malaria, blood culture, and urine routine and also did a chest xray. Everything was clear, except urine had minor amounts of blood and pus cells. Doctor did not go for urine culture, instead gave her two set of broad spectrum antibiotics, after taking antibiotics for 10 days, the fever went down, appetite was restored. By this time it had been 3 weeks since the fever appeared. 2 weeks after this were normal and without any fever however there was apparent weight loss. The patient resumed her office work and the fever reappeared. Now it has been a week since she has been having fever of 100 degrees everyday. Both times fever appeared after her periods, and she also had blisters and swelling in the vaginal area after the course of antibiotics, for which doctor had prescribed antiviral drugs.
