Hello, I can understand how stressful and confidence-lowering facial warts can be. 👉 About HPV warts: In most people, HPV infection clears naturally within 1–2 years, but in some cases (especially on face) it persists longer. Recurrence after cautery/creams is common because the virus stays in surrounding skin cells. 👉 Why it is not clearing in you: Reduced local skin immunity Stress (further lowering body’s defense) Autoinoculation (virus spreading when you touch/pick) 👉 What to do next: Please visit a dermatologist. For resistant facial warts, advanced treatments are available: • Laser ablation (CO₂ / pulsed dye laser): precise, cosmetically safer than repeated cautery. • Immunotherapy (imiquimod cream, intralesional antigen therapy): helps body’s own immunity fight HPV. Take care of general immunity: adequate sleep, stress control, balanced diet, vitamin D if low. Avoid scratching/picking warts. 👉 Reassurance: Your condition is treatable. Many patients with long-standing warts respond well to immunotherapy or laser after failing routine measures. Please don’t lose hope—effective options are still available. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
