Typhoid fever not subsidized even after course of 10 monocef injections and now doctor has prescribed stafcure cv 500 twice daily for 5 days. The fever started almost one month back but was not diagnosed as typhoid at that time. So, one month back took some antibiotics as prescribed by doctor for infection and fever gone after 10 days but again got down with fever for one day next week. Now, again down with high fever from last 7 -8 days which is now diagnosed as typhoid not subsidized even after course of 10 monocef injections and now doctor has prescribed stafcure cv 500 twice daily for 5 days.

In many places ,Salmonella typhi bacteria is getting resistant to monocef (Ceftriaxone ) ,hence 10 injection of monocef didn't work .. other clinical reports need to be evaluated for high fever
