Typhoid and weakness

I had been facing fever since a week.. Yesterday i got to know i am having typhoid as my widal test was positive.I am taking treatment for the same since yesterday. How long will it take for me to get well again?(I am having low immunity)

Hello there. I can understand your concern. If you are having typhoid then you have to take antibiotics for a minimum of 14 days. That's how the standard procedure is. You will feel weak for a few days (upto 10 days). Drink plenty of fluids. Have a soft diet and avoid oily and spicy foods. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
