TSH Level Imbalance
Hi My wife recently got her thyroid tested and TSH came to be 0.01, T3: 1.39, T4: 11.86. 3 weeks back TsH was 0.1. Earlier she was taking thyronorm 37.5 but stopped after TSH reduction. Also, no pregnancy. What can be done? Also, can we continue to try for pregnancy or wait till TSH normalise?

Nothing to be done at present. You have already discontinued Thyronorm. Your wife is not pregnant at present. You should keep trying for pregnancy. Your T3 and T4 levels don't suggest hyperthyroidism.

Trying for pregnancy is no wrong, although having thyroid issues, have a detailed evaluation with an Endocrinologist regarding the thyroid concern and parallel have and consultation with infertility specialist regarding the same. Holistic approach is needed in this concerns where multidisciplinary approach helps a lot, thank you.

You must wait to try for pregnancy. High thyroid levels can lead to complications or miscarriage. Wait until TSH is back to normal.
Next Steps
0.01 is very low and can strain the heart., We must find out if this is Graves' Disease. Get a TRAb Test done . Check her resting pulse if it is above 100 .

No need to stop… you should have decreased the dose of levothyroxine to 12.5mcg…
Next Steps
No worries. Just wait for 4 weeks and then repeat TSH

It takes nearly 6 weeks for TSH to change once the Thyronorm dose is altered. Ideally one should not just stop/start thyronorm. Please ask her to take Thyronorm 25mcg and get TSH re-checked after 6 weeks.
