Anxiety, stress, and depression are some of the most common causes of chronic insomnia. Having difficulty sleeping can also make anxiety, stress, and depression symptoms worse. Other common emotional and psychological causes include anger, worry, grief, bipolar disorder, and trauma.
There are medical reasons too like.Examples of medical conditions that can cause insomnia are:
Nasal/sinus allergiesGastrointestinal problems such as refluxEndocrine problems such as hyperthyroidismArthritisAsthmaNeurological conditions such as Parkinson's diseaseChronic painLow back pain
There is no use of taking pills and therapy unless underlying cause is clear
Next Steps
please consult psychiatrist to understand cause of insomnia first . Then holistic management which includes medications and therapy can be planned
Health Tips
Don't tk pills indiscriminately and dnt self prescribe medications

Hey, I would recommend you to visit a good clinical psychologist, so that you could go for some therapeutic sessions. Those would help you getting a sound sleep and also help you improve your memory and concentration issues.
Next Steps
Take an appointment with clinical psychologist for understanding your depressive features and therapeutic sessions would be highly recommended.
