5 yrs ago I did root canal for my last tooth (before wisdom tooth) / left side bottom.
Recently I was suffering from sensitivity in the same tooth.
Doctor has advised to put the crown (cap) on the tooth which I did root canal.
Before this, he advised me to remove wisdom tooth which is impacted & it is removed 1 week ago.
And doctor told that he will put crown for root canaled tooth after 1 week.
Now I am suffering from severe pain in root canaled tooth & upper tooth.
When i checked with doctor, he told that both my teeths are ok. Nothing to be worried & he prescribed pain killer & muco pain gel. I took those tablets for 1 week & gel for 2 days.
Still the pain has not gone.
I m not satisfied with doctor's ans.
What could be the reason which is causing tje pain for my root canaled tooth & upper tooth ?
Note : I m attaching X-ray image taken before wisdom tooth removal.

The pain that you have may be because of the extracted tooth since it is removed only a week back . I would advise you to wait for another week and meanwhile take medications as prescribed and only then go ahead for the crown of the root canal treated tooth.
Next Steps
Kindly wait for a week to ten days

Do not loose faith in your dentist. Extracted site of a wisdom tooth especially like yours which was so tilted can pain for 15-20 days also.
Firstly.... It is your mistake that you didnot put the crown when root canal was done. A root canal is incomplete without cap placement.
However....donot panic.
The reason for pain could mostly be the third molar.
If it is already extracted....take the tablets full dose.
If Extraction is not yet done... Get it done asap.
Cap placement is must for the root canal treated tooth.
Next Steps
don't delay your treatment

U need to underdog extraction of the wisdom tooth. Cause of pain in the recently root canaled tooth could be a missed canal or some pulp tissue or debris left behind. The cause of decay in you 2nd molar has been the impacted wisdom tooth. U must get it removed as capping your 2nd molar wouldn’t be possible without removal of the wisdom tooth.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist again and get your 2nd molar checked
