From the pictures, the ulcer appears to be in the healing phase. Sudden tongue ulcers are commonly caused by minor trauma (bite), stress, spicy food, or acidity. Since it has been present for around 2 weeks and is reducing in size, healing is likely ongoing. Kenacort 0.1% is appropriate, apply a thin layer 2–3 times daily, preferably after meals, and avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes after application.
Next Steps
Advice: Avoid spicy, hot, and acidic foods Maintain good oral hygiene Do not keep touching or irritating the area Adequate hydration and stress control help healing
Health Tips
If the ulcer does not completely heal within another 7–10 days If it increases in size, becomes very painful, or bleeds Then an in-person dental/oral medicine examination is advised At present, there are no obvious alarming features from the images.
