As per your height and weight, your bmi is just marginally low. Do not bother about low weight. Add healthy carbs and proteins to your diet. Get blood sugar and thyroid function tests done and share results.

Your report shows low Vitamin B12 (164 pg/ml) and low magnesium (1.65 mg/dL). These deficiencies can cause fatigue, weakness, hair fall, and low energy levels. Vitamin D is slightly high (101 ng/ml), so further Vitamin D supplements should be avoided for now to prevent toxicity. Also you are having low HDL (39 mg/dL) and borderline high LDL (129 mg/dL). This pattern suggests a mild lipid imbalance, which can increase long-term cardiovascular risk if not corrected. At present this lipid profile does not require medicines. It is usually managed with diet changes, exercise, and lifestyle modification.
Next Steps
Start Methylcobalamin 1500 mcg tablet once daily after food for 6–8 weeks. For magnesium, take Magnesium glycinate 200 mg once daily after dinner for 4 weeks. Increase intake of milk, curd, paneer, eggs, nuts, seeds, and green leafy vegetables. Avoid taking Vitamin D supplements for now. Focus on diet correction and regular physical activity. Repeat Vitamin B12, Magnesium, ESR and Lipid profile after 3 months.Since you have multiple nutritional issues I suggest you to take tests which includes CBC,RFT,CRP,Thyroid profile,Ferritin and iron,Liver enzymes.

At 38 years, with: • Continuous fatigue • Hair fall • Underweight (48 kg at 5’3”) The most common medical causes are: • Iron deficiency (even if hemoglobin is borderline normal) • Vitamin D deficiency • Vitamin B12 deficiency • Thyroid dysfunction • Chronic stress / poor nutrition Since you mentioned “except this all reports are within range,” I would need to know which values are abnormal. But based on symptoms alone: Hair fall + fatigue + low body weight strongly suggests nutritional deficiency or thyroid-related issue. Your BMI is around 18.5, which is borderline underweight — this itself can contribute to: • Hormonal imbalance • Weak hair roots • Low energy levels
Next Steps
Please check or confirm these levels if not already done: ✔ Ferritin (more important than hemoglobin) ✔ Vitamin B12Vitamin DTSH (thyroid) ✔ Total protein / albumin If ferritin is below 30 → iron supplementation is needed. If Vitamin D
Health Tips
✔ Do not rely only on multivitamins ✔ Improve calorie intake gradually ✔ Add strength training (improves energy) ✔ Sleep 7–8 hours ✔ Manage stress Hair fall and fatigue are usually reversible once the underlying deficiency is corrected. To guide you properly, I need to see which specific values are abnormal in your report. If you share the exact numbers (especially ferritin, TSH, B12, Vitamin D), I can give you a precise treatment plan. Booking an online consultation would allow a structured deficiency correction plan tailored to your body weight and lab profile.

Fatigue and hair fall with low body weight can sometimes be related to nutritional deficiency, stress, thyroid issues, or low iron/Vitamin levels, even if basic reports look mostly normal. Since your weight is on the lower side, diet and micronutrient intake also play an important role. A detailed review of your reports and symptoms will help identify the exact cause. Based on your symptoms, this may require proper clinical assessment and prescription. You may book an online consultation with me for detailed evaluation and personalised treatment plan.

Dear Patient, Your symptoms of continuous fatigue, tiredness, hair fall, and low body weight (48 kg at 5'3") are commonly associated with nutritional deficiencies or hormonal imbalance. Possible causes include iron deficiency, low Vitamin D or B12 levels, thyroid imbalance, inadequate protein intake, or chronic stress. I advise ensuring adequate daily protein intake (dal, paneer, eggs, sprouts), proper sleep of 7–8 hours, and evaluation of Ferritin, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, and TSH levels if not already assessed. Correction of underlying deficiencies usually improves both energy levels and hair fall. Kindly follow up with detailed reports for specific treatment advice.
