Thyroid nodules
Having Neck pain from 3-4 months Neck sonography shows two collide nodules One around 5×4 cm and one of 4 mm Went for FNAC report One shows medullary carcinoma category 6 Did another FNAC in different hospital.. it showed hashimotosis category 2.. endocrinologist said ablation can be done no need of surgery..  Oncologist told that he will do the surgery and remove the left nodule which is big, do the 20 min biopsy test on it(frozen section exam).. if it is medullary he will remove whole thyroid and lymph nodes otherwise he will stop the surgery there.  Due to fear of cancer we went with surgery.. But while doing surgery he removed whole thyroid some 4-5 lymph nodes and told us it was hurtle cell adenoma and was pre cancancerous And again he has given those removed parts to some other exam and that result will come in 7-8 days and based on that he will give the next medication. Is the oncologist correct and should we continue the treatment with him or should we change? please help

The Oncologist seems to followed the standard protocol, which we use intra operative biopsy can tell you weather the mass is benign or malignant while patient being in surgery, and as you mentioned they told you it was Hurthle cell adenoma which is actually pre malignant.
Next Steps
Next medication will be most probably thyroid replacement therapy which is preferably should be taken from the same doctor itself,as it may require dose monitoring and further testing for any remanent disease.
