Hello Ma'am..... Throat pain and/or dry cough can develop because of an infection, allergy, or very simply can be because of reflux or 'hyper-acidity'. I will recommend you start tab Pantocid 40 mg twice daily before meals, tab Enzowin D twice daily and tab Allegra 120mg twice daily; the last two meds to be taken after meals. Take for 5 days. If not better in 48-72 hours, show to an ENT doctor.
Next Steps
I understand from your query that you don't have fever. If you do have fever, or in case you develop it, please go to the nearest clinic/hospital to check yourself for Covid infection.
Health Tips
Avoid spicy, oily and chilly foods. Especially fried foods, carbonated beverages (coke etc), excess tea and coffee (not more than 2 cups in a day), lemon and citrus fruits, smoking and alcohol. Do not skip melas. Eat regular small meals, and do not lie down for 1-2 hours after meals (to prevent reflux)
