Throat infection and cough

Asked for Female, 63 Years

She is having severe cough and throat infection since last one month inspite of having medicies consulted by family doctor. She is not able to consume solid food and every 2 hours she start having headaches. Just wanted to know is there any other remedial ways to treat this.

Cough associated with throat problems and difficulty in swallowing after age of 60 years needs to be evaluated in detail by chest x ray, endoscopy, CT scan of thorax, etc. Treatment depends on identifying cause for her problem
