Throat ache
My mother(age- 50 years), is suffering from left side throat ache since April 1st week. Doc prescribed for some antibiotics determining it to b a cough related problem with no result..after several visits when conditions got worse she went to a ENT specialist who said after going through some blood tests and xray that there is a bone which has grown/overgrown something lyk that n then prescribed a 20 days course medicine n after completion of that again she has no recovery yet..plz suggest me what should I do? She says she feels lyk fish bone stuck there n also can't eat or talk properly.

This case looks very much like Laryngo-Pharyngeal-Reflux(LPR) where digestive acid from the stomach comes into the throat because of poor food habits like long gaps in between meals. A CT-Scan Neck will rule out other diseases. She should take antacids apart from improving food timings.
