Hello I have noted your concern, so for routine ULTRASOUND WHOLE ABDOMEN, we ask patients to be in fasting before procedure, for better view of kidneys bladder and surrounding structures
Next Steps
So you need to be fasting and as well as your bladder should be full, as the bladder expands it will show the structure of the organs more clear, and you can do it by taking clear liquids like water.
Health Tips
Make sure you drink at least one liter of water atleast 30-40mins before procedure according to your appointment schedule, and don’t put your self in trouble with urinary urgency or bladder incontinence. I hope this clarifies your concern. Get well soon! Wish you speedy recovery!
